At Horsmonden we are able to provide wrap around care.
From 7.45 until 8.40 am we operate an Early Birds club where your children may have breakfast. Early Birds is supervised by existing members of the school staff who ensure your children are happy and safe for the beginning of the school day. The younger ones are taken to their classes by the staff.
After school club is open from 3.20 until 6pm, and tea is provided for the children at 5pm. They have access to most of the facilities in the school and also the outside areas. They also have the opportunity to use the school computers not only to play games, but also research for homework. During the summer months most of the time is spent outside.
We do encourage the children to help with choosing and serving the meal and also tidying up afterwards.
